Broken Pipe in Toano, VA

This ceiling was falling due to water damage when our crew arrived on site. Once our SERVPRO Professionals had arrived they quickly set to work removing the dangerous hazard which was the ceiling. The materials in the ceiling had absorbed so much water due to a broken pipe above that our SERVPRO professionals had to cut the ceiling down in small sections. Then our technicians bagged the water saturated materials in order to dispose of them outside due to the fact the only exit was through the front of the house. When drywall adsorbs water from a water damage the material more than doubles in weight. #waterdamge #waterleak #pipeburst #floodedbedroom
